Announcement About DoW Gold Pack CD Keys

After getting reports that people were getting invalid CD keys on the back of their DoW Gold Edition manuals, Buggo from Relic asked THQ about this issue.

THQ had this to say:

The Dawn of Way Gold Pack CD key should only be 16 characters long, in four banks of four. If your CD key is 20 characters long, you have a mis-printed manual.

Please post your faulty Dawn of War manual, along with a covering letter and return address to:

Dawn of War Replacement Manual,
THQ UK, Dukes Court,
Duke Street,
Woking
GU21 5BH

THQ will then issue you a replacement manual within 7 days.

I never got an invalid cd key error, does it only happen online? My gold pack’s DOW = 16 characters and Winter Assault = 20 characters. Is that not right? Thank you. :)

What is a covering letter?

It means that you write a short letter explaining why you are writing them. A few sentences detailing the problems should suffice.

Nope. 16 character Dawn of War CD key. Which worked for that game, and wasn’t a problem with WA. Now I have to snail mail my manual (which doesn’t have the listed problem) to the UK to get my Dark Crusade to work?

I have the same thing as escapedturkey. 16 keys for DoW and 20 for WA. I ask if this is right?

My DoW CD-key has 20 characters but when I install the game there is space for 20 characters in the installation window, so why should it be only 16 characters?

well, mine had 20 for both and it installed fine, but my sister was an idiot because she threw away my manual, plus when you load up dark crusade and it asks for your DoW cd key its got 5 spaces of 4, but i can’t put one in because i don’t have one, ’cause as mentioned before my sister threw it away

can u help me i lost my manual for DOW gold edition and i want to play it and i dont want to spend more money on getting a new one so can someone help me out
