Good for them if their expensive copy of CoH works, but for too many purchasers it doesn't. My older XP running computer (well within specs) simply wouldn't run CoH, and the hours I wasted downloading and redownloading the huge patches (and contacting THQ) I will never get back. Now I have a new, seriously over-specced Vista machine, & guess what? Yes, it ran CoH once... and now every time I try again, it wants me to redownload all of the patches again. Well done if you are a tech head and can work out what's going on, but the point is that if you buy something in good faith it should work out of the box, full stop. I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the UK the law states that any product should be fit for purpose. This isn't, and nor is THQs tech support. THQ, you really are an absolute shower. After trying endless patches to get opposing forces to work (kept getting the Unable to verify media..) Finally found a patch the would recognise my install & managed to be able play the game. I usually download full games illegally and if i like them I buy them, so when i legally purchase this game it f's up and I'm just out $25? Real cool. Guess you could say it's karma, but i do delete games I don't like and dont copy games for other people. So I decide to use a cd key from online somewhere, works fine.
