Buggo has confirmed that she is now banning accounts from Relic Online for cheating. From the sounds of it, this includes people exploiting the drop bug/exploit/hack.
Accounts have been banned already, with more to come. I’m personally doing it.
If you cheat, that’s your fault.

For those curious, read the following post for some detailed clarification on the drop bug/hack issue. A lot of players still do not understand what exactly the fuss is all about.

i played coh rankedgame for 10 minutes ago and some poor guy with the name: COMPANY OF ZEROES. he whined and sad that i had used some mod thing he said and that he will ban my account? i wonder if anyone else have had the same problem with him… what i mean is this Cheat discussing is making some go nuts just complaining that everybody cheat just becuz they lose, i think you should calm down a little bit or soon it will be like CS everybody is a victim. it says alot of peps that are spelling “bad” words. what about noobs that cant take that they have been beaten and MUST threat with that they will ban your account? i think some anti-cheat program like; punkbuster should be inproved but thats just me.
hope that poor guy stop whining and learn strategy. for the best to all of us.

LOL i have had the exact same problem with the guy Company of Zeroes ,everytime he is in the game forums he moans and is very abusive to everyone saying they hack ,he is also very nasty and uses bad language im only 13 and i know its wrong to swear.

I have the same problem as xenoborg here
i can go in to the chat and talk for about 2 min or if i rush in a game ait will sork for me this does not happen for my friend on his pc already disabled firewalls and let COH throu my anti virus (NOD32) i am realy thankful for an answer i love this game and getting sick of killing AI ;) well thanks again for a good game

hello, my account has been banned. I bought COH from a second hand retailer a while ago, and since the new patch has come out, have twice had to reset the product key to myself solely and now as it has happened again, have had my account banned. This seems unfair. I have legitimately purchased the game, and the expansion, and at the time, a second hand copy seemed a reasonable choice as there was no online patch available (it was only up to 1.3) However since the patch came out and opposing fronts pushed the lot up to 2.1 I had to log in to relic online, and validate the product key which is where my problems began, and the only guess I have is that the person or persons who had the game originally before selling it still have an install (as it didn’t need the cd at first) and have patched that install up and persist in going online when I am thus causing the conflict resulting in my ban. I can give you the full details and product key as evidence, even photos of the manual and box. Please help. Thank you very much.

Just bought the retail box version of Opposing fronts but it keeps telling me my cd key is invalid when i go to create an account. Anyone have any sugesstions?

Help!
i got problem that manpower,ammo and fuel supplies gathering very slow, slower than normal. i tested this thing with comrade we had same supply-points(value) and after 10 minutes my friend had triple points as I ?? only man in flag no posts.
i have Intel 2core duo and 2×8800gt videocard with XP home.
This is really serious issue, cant play cause supplies are gathering so slow that multiplay is impossible!!
1 game i had 3(+10fuelpoints) and fuel raised 1 point/per30 minutes!!!!!!you cant play multi with that…..

Hi all,
I was just registering a new account and than i got a ban. I just wanted a new accountname with not statics.
When you register the computer says you can be banned but you realy want to go further with this action. I said yes. I registered a few account and than i BAMMM i got a ban.
This is not so good of THQ and Relic. I bought the game in a store named dixons in the Netherlands…

people using somekind of mod- units already vet-3 status, not getting pinned front of MG, getting resources 2xtimes faster, deploying units 2-3 times faster, Tanks not even scratched when shooting front armor. last game hitted Flag-panzer 4-times REAR with american AT-gun it still shooted and finally killed AT-crew, i thought that AT-guns are for Armor?
Artillery knows exactly where to shoot, miles away(Brits dont have camouflage) and very VERY devastating result: 2 shots building and its gone! I know this will result massive nagging about you noob&cant play, trying to silence, cheat revealing.

Those mod-cheats not showing in replay, it somehow transfer video to seen that everybody is same speed. You only see that mod-cheat by playing against cheater and I say there are lot of cheaters. Rank-system always are hunted by cheaters….I remember when people in Counter-strike said”that guy is too good to be real”, at this day it is Most Cheated game in World! If Relic doesnt act this mod-cheating aggressive, this game will be next to CS, most cheated game in world.
Punkbuster seems to be very good anti-cheatsystem, cuz its banning the Hard-drive not cd-key, cheating will cost big bugs. Take action NOW!

Hi apparently my account has ben banned for reasons i don’t know. I haven’t played CoH online for over 6months and now when i tried to log in i got the message that i had ben banned. I don’t have a clue why though. Please unban my account!

Hay i bought god edition at gamestop and got a ban acoount for bad cd key. I took it back and got another one. But it keeps saying I have been baned how i don’t know. I am doing a clean install of the game killed all the reg on it and will see if it will work.
