Hirmetrium on the forums linked this article at Joystiq about THQ picking Gamersgate as an online Retailer.

According to the article (there’s no PR from GamersGate or THQ that I can find), it looks like the games will be available to everyone around the world except those in New Zealand and Australia. Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts are two products from Relic that are currently available.

Why is it Relic have such a poor track record in giving Australia (Ok, and New Zealand) a little love? First they botch up the Australian release of Opposing Fronts, and now their online store caters to everyone except us. Not to sound ungrateful (at least we got the game… unlike some other publisher’s efforts) but is anyone - ever - going to pay attention to these islands of ours?

This, on top of the fact it sometimes takes a full month for titles to be released down here after they’re out in the US or Europe.
