DoW2 Beta Info!

You knew it was coming, and now we can reveal the dates of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War II multiplayer beta.

The beta will be hosted via Steam and will launch exclusively to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War - Soulstorm owners on January 21. If you’re not a Soulstorm owner, you’ll be able to get in on the action on January 28 when the beta is opened to all worldwide.

All four races (yes, including Tyranids!) will be available to try out in the beta, along with five multiplayer maps and Games For Windows LIVE TrueSkill Matchmaking. Keep your eye on THQ-Games for more information on the Beta.

You need a Steam account, and a copy of Soulstorm (doesn’t matter where you bought it, steam purchased or otherwise you’ll need the CD Key. Sharing of keys is forbidden) for early access. Open access later. 4 races including the ‘nids. 5 maps.

The rumors made the rounds for quite some time, but now it’s official: Relic and THQ are organizing a beta test of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II!

The beta for the multiplayer mode via Steam and hosted from 21.01.09 initially exclusively for owners of Warhammer 40,000 - Dawn of War: Soul Storm accessible! But even if you Dawn of War: Soul Storm should not have, you can also later on Betatest participate: 28.01.09 from the beta released worldwide.

Look forward to all four nations (yes, including the Tyranids!) In the framework of the beta test will be available, and try them on five different multiplayer maps. The matchmaking is done based on your abilities ( “Games for Windows LIVE TrueSkill matchmaking” feature). For more info on the beta test will soon be published here on THQ.de.
