Tomorrow, the massive “There is Only War” patch is being released.
On Thursday, July 30th at 11:00 AM PST (19:00 GMT) all Dawn of War II owners will receive the massive ‘There is Only War’ update, complete with new features, new content, balance updates, and bug fixes.
The big features are, of course, observer mode, massive balance changes, a lot of bug fixes and 8 new maps.

Relic was collecting numbers during the patch beta. Looks like there were a good number of playing trying out the patch,
There was an average of 8,367 unique users playing Dawn of War II throughout each day of the beta. An average of 25,335 matches occurred between the 1st and the 14th of July. The greatest number of people playing Dawn of War II during the beta of ‘There is Only War’ was on July 3rd. There were 10,911 unique users playing over 35,340 matches. It was great to see such a high volume of players during the beta. The numbers obtained from the beta prove our ongoing development of Dawn of War II has increased the longevity and viability of the game, and shows our fans are just as interested in playing the game as they were with it was originally released. Thank you for your support.
Space Marines are definitely the most played race during the beta.
DoW2 Patch Beta Over

Looks like the patch beta is over.
The beta period of “There is Only War” is now over. Thank you for your participation, feedback, and the bugs you have logged.
The beta has been successful due to the overwhelming amount of community feedback and support. We have received hundreds of balance suggestions, numerous bug reports, and countless suggestions to undoubtedly make Dawn of War II a stronger, deeper, and more balanced game.
The full release of “There is Only War” will be out soon. In addition to the new content and balance updates included with the beta, the full release of “There is Only War” is coming with even more bug fixes and balance updates.
I like how there’s additional balance and bug fixes that weren’t in the Beta :-D

The beta for ‘There is Only War’ update will commence this afternoon at 2:00pm PST and will last until July 13th. This includes all the balance changes, fixes and World Builder.
Here is a quick snip from their community page,By participating in the Beta, you’ll get to play ‘There is Only War’ early, where you can play with new balance changes, new updates, and new features, all before the update is officially released. Steam will update your copy of Dawn of War II when you decide to participate. By playing the Beta and giving us feedback, you’ll also become an active contributor towards the game’s development. The more you tell us about your experience in the Beta, the better the game will be when ‘There is Only War’ is fully released.
