notable events
Not really a notable year. Everyone had their health (which was awesome), we had good summer weather which we greatly enjoyed at the place on the left, and my oldest is now in school. Aside from that, no colossal upsets.

Hooome… Hooome on the range… Where the deer and the antilope crack themselves up at the old fart canooing drunk on homemade beer…

You have the weight of a hundred thousand trees on your shoulders.
Verrin • 17 Oct 2006 @ 19:07 GMT
What happened to the moustache?

Hey everybody! Its Bill Pullman!
Dimension • 17 Oct 2006 @ 20:24 GMT
Hi retro. Why do you always get to be on top?
reki • 17 Oct 2006 @ 21:50 GMT
ok that was meant to say on the bottom, even.
reki • 17 Oct 2006 @ 21:51 GMT
So is that actually close to your house or just some place out in the boonies you vacation at?
General Nuke Em • 17 Oct 2006 @ 21:54 GMT
Way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, actually. It’s about 1.5 hours from my house, the last 40 minutes of which is across terrain that absolutely requires a decent 4-wheel drive to get into. We get ATV’ers come and visit on occasion, and they frequently are rather awed that a full-sized vehicle actually makes it into the camp.
...and the ‘stache was removed because it went half-gray. This would be okay, except it was the LEFT HALF that went gray. I ended up looking even more lopsided.

Little girl in a party dress!
Vaarok • 18 Oct 2006 @ 00:05 GMT
retro appears to be sitting on water.
molo • 18 Oct 2006 @ 01:07 GMT
retro is sitting in the canoe wrong
trebmal_ca • 18 Oct 2006 @ 01:49 GMT
Bullhorkies. Retro prefers preserving his knees for posterity, and therefore sits on the built-in chair that’s part of the canoe’s frame.
Retroboy • 18 Oct 2006 @ 11:06 GMT
He sits on his trousers.
Woggy • 18 Oct 2006 @ 16:21 GMT
He’s not Bill Pullman.
So, retro, did you have sex with that woman?
Starfisher • 18 Oct 2006 @ 17:56 GMT
He most certainly did, and has Retrotykes to show for it.
Cheers Ret0r!
Riess • 18 Oct 2006 @ 18:00 GMT
Boy, I can be such a turd swishing around the rapids coating the fish with my stench, but one day I’ll be my very own super strain of pollutant organism that will form a bond with the whelks and cockles, to only be then eaten by Retro.
B.B. • 18 Oct 2006 @ 18:34 GMT
Retro is one with nature

Didn’t you used to have a mustache?
Anyways, hi to the resident Relic funny guy.
General Blaze • 20 Oct 2006 @ 11:09 GMT
Your retro-arm looks like it’s stretching back and reaching deep into the retro-water, causing all of those ripples…what antediluvian retro-secrets will you unfold for the retro-public to discern?
dreddnott • 21 Oct 2006 @ 01:43 GMT
Check out the book I’m reading, is that anywhere near British Columbia?
Also, hi :~)
El Russo • 21 Oct 2006 @ 02:43 GMT
Sillies, my Retro-arm is stretching back because it’s holding the bag of delicious homebrewed bottled beer deep into the glacially chilly water of my lake.
One of these days, I’m going to brew with lake water, once I figure out the logistics about collecting it and bringing it to my house… several hundred pounds of H20 traversing 10 miles of logging roads COULD be a problem on the suspension…
Retroboy • 21 Oct 2006 @ 03:56 GMT
Retro, you think way too much.
Nice dinky boat.

Sajuukar • 24 Oct 2006 @ 20:48 GMT

the_living_god • 25 Oct 2006 @ 13:51 GMT
After noticing Retroboys gimmick
Of elaborating himself with a limerick
I gave it a shot
And though he’s hot, I’m not
Cus it ain’t all that easy to mimic!
(I know you havn’t wrote one in ages, but I’ve been holding that for soo long!)
eventhorizon • 6 Dec 2006 @ 23:50 GMT
Few Relicboard rhymes is a sin
Appears I have no rhyming kin.
So lonely, I’m sick..
HARK! A Limerick!
Eventhorizon for the win!
