personal bio

Eat, sleep, drink, womanize (badly), not necessarily in that order. I have yet to find my niche in life either because I don’t have one or because I’m just bone idle. Probably because I’m bone idle.

I am 23 years old. I have long hair and a hat. I avoid hard work whenever possible. No, that’s not me on the right you pervert. Picture is proof that women do not appreciate having the finer points of the Dark Crusade meta-game explained to them.

By now you are probably thinking “WHERE ARE THE GOGGLES, I VIEWED THIS PROFILE TO SEE GOGGLES!”. I don’t have them, they were never mine, they were borrowed for that single memorable image. I am sorry to disappoint you all.

FAVOURITE MUSIC/s: Dimmu Borgir, Dragonforce, Decapitated, Strapping Young Lad, All That Remains. My top musician would have to be Devin Townsend, his range of material is staggering.

FAVOURITE MOVIE/s: Withnail and I, it has an endless supply of quotes. 300, one word sums it up. MANTASTIC. I am also a massive Alien geek and enjoy all the movies, yes even Alien Ressurection.

FAVOURITE TV SHOW/s: The Mighty Boosh – Noel Fielding and Julian Barret are amazing and there is nothing gay about wanting to lick the both of them. Brass Eye, The Day Today or indeed anything by Chris Morris. He has perfected satire and taken it to a whole new level.

FAVOURITE BOOK/s: This is a tough one because I don’t really read very often but I really enjoyed the Drenai novels by the late David Gemmell. You can’t go wrong with beefy barbarians with enchanted axes.

FAVOURITE FOOD/s: CURRY w00t. My mothers side of the family has anglo-indian roots so a lot of indian cuisine has been passed down through the generations and I got a taste for it at an early age. I’m a big fan of any form of beef, particularly steak cooked rare.

FAVOURITE GAME/s: The Dawn of War series OBVIOUSLY. System Shock 2 for being the first game to actually make me feel real feer. The UFO/XCOM series for stealing away hundreds of hours of my life in the name of defending humanity.

Those are some of my favourite things. A cat is fine too.

notable events

Wearing a hat. Posting on /b/ for the first time after lurking for about a year and having my thread instantly saged.

favorite quote

Anything from Withnail and I. Srsly go watch it.

Hi Chris
you look like a really pretty gurl

Hiroshi_Tea • 9 Nov 2007 @ 03:16 GMT

They both do.

Trinity • 9 Nov 2007 @ 04:31 GMT

Ohhh, I can’t pick which one I’d rather sleep with. Can I pick both? Pleeeease? I suppose I’d have to go with the one on the left, because the one on the right looks a bit too manly for my tastes.

DoltIncognito • 9 Nov 2007 @ 09:35 GMT

Hooray, I am not the only one with long hair in this forum (altough I don’t wear mine open^^)

btw.: where are the goggles?^_-

scoiatollo • 9 Nov 2007 @ 18:19 GMT

Read the bio Hiro! Herro Chris

El Russo • 9 Nov 2007 @ 18:23 GMT

Women (in general) just find DC boring, I explained it some to my gf but it’s a lost cause. I can only get her to play Mario Party and Metal Slug.

Love the hat and the hair. Needs more goggles.

Ira Aduro • 9 Nov 2007 @ 18:36 GMT

I have updated my profile to explain lack of goggles.

Scoiatollo I don’t normally wear my hair open but I think it looks good with the hat.

Chris • 9 Nov 2007 @ 18:56 GMT

Jup suits you.

Btw.: I like your games. SS2 is the game I shocked my brother nearly into a heart attack (and to be honest, even now it’s the most atmospheric games released!). Which UFO game did you like best? imo 1 and 3 are best (I still have Apocalypse and enemy unknown installed^^)

scoiatollo • 9 Nov 2007 @ 19:49 GMT

ps.: I miss the goggles^^

scoiatollo • 9 Nov 2007 @ 19:50 GMT

I would respect only one of you in the morning.

Trinity • 9 Nov 2007 @ 20:09 GMT

Long hair, ftw.

Also, I like your taste in music

Twickenham, and I work in the city. Pourquoi?

El Russo • 10 Nov 2007 @ 01:53 GMT

I love the Drenai novels as well.

I also enjoyed the Rigante series by Gemmell.

Dabada • 10 Nov 2007 @ 03:24 GMT

Rememebr that time we had that soup?

“Soup, soup a tasty soup soup
a spicy carrot and coriander,
CHILE CHOWDER, CROUTON! CROUTON!
crunchy friends in a liquid broth – I am gazpach-i-o oh! I am a summer soup!
mmm miso miso! fighting in the dojo,
miso miso, oriental prince in the land of soup!”

ahhh crazy days eh?

naradaman • 10 Nov 2007 @ 06:05 GMT

Twickenham as part of Richmond is quite expensive really.

El Russo • 10 Nov 2007 @ 13:17 GMT

Well I didn’t really like aftermath and whatever came after that, it just didn’t felt right. But a new UFO episode is going to be released which is more similar to the original series.

btw.: Apoc can be run with DosBox (greatest piece of software ever^^)

I am writing this because you are awesome and I respect you.

I am curious, however, whether that’s a magic wand or a straw in your hand and whether the punchline of that particular joke you were telling went over well?
